Little chatter came to follow after his emotionally charged input on the situation, swarthy ears pinning themselves back as his brother came to be the voice of reason that was shortly supported by their leader. While Galen didn't necessarily
disagree with what was proposed now, he couldn't shake the feeling it still wasn't enough. He didn't feel he was adequate in his own skills currently to properly call himself a guardian, but after all he had been through with his tawny age-mate and the gnawing guilt of wishing he could have been there, should have been there to protect her, his decision was made. He'd undergo all the rigorous and gruesome training it took to ensure nobody else he cared deeply about would be hurt ever again.
