She had only half expected his response, and when he showed more excitement than she'd expected the woman found that her tail had begun to sway quickly behind her with renewed energy. The male gave her more praise for her everyday experiences than any she'd come across this reality made her feel a jolt of happiness and gratitude for the company of someone so eager to hear about her everyday mundane life. "Thank you Cottongrass, you're too sweet." she blushed beneath her pale fur, eyes seemed to warm up to him and the charm he was giving off; he was probably way cooler than her.
He asked if she had any more stories and the woman contemplated for a moment, reeling through the many silly and embarrassing encounters she'd come across during her life time. If only he knew how many stories she did have to tell, and how little time they had for her to tell them all, but for entertainment purposes, the woman cleared her throat and smiled wide. "You sure you want to open that box Cotton?" she joked, half expecting the male to reject her humor and decide against it after considering how easily she had ran off with this conversation. Perhaps she should hold back just in case, not wanting to give too much information too soon but she gave into his request without a second thought. "Only if you share some with me," she reasoned with the male, expecting the request to go over well.
Although she knew that she wasn't the best story teller or most interesting to listen to, she was certain that some of the encounters were worth a laugh,a scare or a shock or two. She was after all in a humorous mood, "You want to hear about my run in with a skunk or porcupine?" both were most comical with the latter ending in her receiving a few quills but they were all learning experiences that she would keep with her for life.
