For a moment Askan wondered if she'd just assume he was being unreasonable, as so many people seemed to do. But no, instead she agreed with him and stated that she understood his predicament. Though he hardly knew her, Lyanna seemed to be the sort who tried to get along with everyone she met. Was she just playing along to help simmer down his mood, or did she really mean it? Askan looked at her long and hard, his brows drawn. It felt safe to assume it was the latter. She hadn't had any issues poking his buttons before, he doubted that had changed.
"Thanks...I guess." He doubted that he'd need her help with this, but it was a nice offer, he supposed.
Lyanna's explanation was sound enough. The deer was so young it likely hadn't yet developed a sense of self-preservation, let alone could even understand what wolves were and what they could do. It was a shame, really, but it's loss would be their game- assuming Lyanna was willing to go along with what Askan had in mind....
Before he could even part his lips she beat him to the punch. She moved swift and silent, and within moments the scent of fresh blood flooded into his nostrils-along wth that of coyotes. Great. Lyanna soon emerged with her kill and Askan's lips ticked up in amusement.
"Sure. But not here..." Askan didn't feel like sharing with his lesser cousins.
