Cub Adoptions '24

Once again, Breeding Season has come to a close; please find below the litters of cubs that will be available to play in the next few months! Parents might have specified additional instructions to adopt their cubs, but when applying, please also include the following basic information:

• Your Name
• Current Characters
• How many other pups you applied for
• A Role Play Sample
• Anything else the parents may have requested (ie. future plans, plots, etc.)
  

Parents have until the cubs are playable to find players for their cubs. If a player has not been found at that point, the pup will die. If a player of a cub goes inactive, parents reserve the right to reclaim their cub back (unless the account has made over 40 posts per our general rules). Cubs are playable three weeks after their birth date (listed below). Parents cannot announce who will be adopting their cubs before April 21st; this is to give everyone a chance to apply before cubs are officially adopted.

SANGUINE COVE: Aquene Slayer & Nash Eastfall

Aquene and Nash have elected to have another litter, gracing Sanguine Cove with 1 pup. On the cusp of Magg's injury and the season, the pack has been on lockdown... no doubt both parents will have a close eye on this pup. Will it throttle her development, or help them thrive?

Opportunities:
• Interact with older siblings Eclypse, Magg and Matos within the pack as well as nieces Neva and Aven.
• Add to a large and complex lineage.
• Be a sign of hope for the future of Sanguine Cove.

JESSAMY Eastfall-Slayer. The YIN.

Born almost identical to her sister, with only swapped eye colors to account for. Jessamy is fiercely independent, almost to a fault. She is an individualist and hellbent on finding her own path, even if it takes her into trouble. Typically, she doesn't drag others into trouble, but she is most definitely a Type A personality. PARADISE FALLS: Isla Valle & Adelard Gerau & Cashew Lakewood

Born to the young and feral, Isla Valle, these children are not guaranteed gentle parenting. While they might find safety in the shelter of Paradise Falls, their personal home life is guaranteed to be a bit bumpy.

Parenting

Understand that while these boys may find comfort in those around them through Paradise Falls, Isla is an unprepared and unpredictable parent to have. They will be relatively free to fight amongst one another (perhaps even encouraged) and allowed to make mistakes to learn. No matter how grave the mistake might be. There will also be no denying that she plays favorites among her sons and as such that might make dynamics between the boys rather unstable as well.

Regardless, this family is not guaranteed rainbows and sunshine in their immediate family, please keep this in mind when applying.

How to Apply: Send Isla a private message including a 200+ word sample of the pup (any age under one year) along with other ideas.

Opportunities:
• Have a first time, and possibly truly terrible, mother in Isla Valle. Along with questioned fatherhood in this rare split litter!
• Become a part of a now largely grown family in the Valles — with extended Argyris and Archer relations through Grandma Vanadis.
• Explore possible dynamics with other children growing up in Paradise Falls. Along what figuring out what a rivalry brotherhood looks like.

CONSTANTIN Valle. The HEIR APPARENT.

Constantin will be fawned over by his mother for his looks and his resemblance to her direct Valle family, such as grandfather Viorel and more importantly the deceased aunt Sephrina. She would cherish him as though he is the only child she had brought earth side. How does that shape him? Is he overly confident? Perhaps whiny and lazy? What will his dynamic with his younger brother be like as a result? His personality is largely flexible but do keep the above paragraph in mind when applying. CAIAPHAS Valle. The BEAST.

Caiaphas, second born son, had already lost as soon as he was born. While not neglected outright, he is certainly not as favored as his older brother. As such, he has quickly learned he needs to be rough around the edges to get beyond his brother's shadow in his mother's eyes. DEAD EMPRESS BACKWATER: Vanadis & Viorel Valle

Vanadis has only just returned to the Backwater and met with mixed emotions from many members of the pack. Viorel in particular is torn on whether to embrace her with open arms or remind her of everything that she missed while being away at every opportunity. Despite this, they are attempting to make things work and have rather recklessly decided to bring more lives into this equation. Will this litter save their relationship, or drive them apart for good?

How to Apply: To apply please send a role play sample to Vanadis and Viorel along with any ideas you may have for them.

Opportunities:
• Explore the complicated dynamics of parents who are in an unstable relationship.
• Thread with full, adopted, and half-siblings such as Eros, Oleander, and Asmund as well as extended family with Rochus, Ozark, Khalon, Tuwile, and Torianna.
• Have quite a bit of control over the personalities of these cubs! All personalities listed are just suggestions and can be changed, and fully fleshed out.

KALYSTA Valle. The NYMPH.

Born with the same genetic defect that impaired her older sister Sephrina, Kalysta's eyes never develop properly. Her vision will never be better than being able to see light and vague outlines at best and she will spend her whole life blind. Hera VALLE. The GODDESS.

Hera takes strongly after both of Viorel's parents, getting her fur colour from Vasco, and eye colour from Sita, making for one stunning looking character - if we do say so ourselves. Atlas VALLE. The TITAN.

The youngest in his litter, and the only boy, Atlas has his work cut out for him to keep up. He closely resembles the triplets of Vanadis and Viorel's previous litter, Isla, Sephrina, and Nix with a silver pelt that darkens along his saddle into a near black. His personality can be customized to suit the adopter's vision, but some suggested personality traits include: GENTLE, INDEPENDENT, NARROW-MINDED. For reasons she's kept close to her vest, Nia went out of her way to assure herself another daughter, even at the cost of her pack and the relationship with her older child, Sage. Not only is she aged, but Nia has been surviving completely alone in the wilds; will she really be able to pull this off? Or will fate keep Rosemary from ever truly being hers? This innocent pup's situation might change drastically after being born...

ROSEMARY Love GROWS.

Love grows where little miss Rosemary goes! This pup has a loud and outgoing personality. Nobody is a stranger. Her mind functions literally, causing jokes to soar over her head and for her to be more gullible. She is innocent and naive, with a creative spark. Rosemary enjoys collecting trinkets to give to others. A talkative pup that can’t stay on one subject long. She has a short attention span that gets her into trouble. Slow to learn, but bright-minded. She is a cheery bubbly baby, but this could change as her life unfolds. LONER: Sophrosnia Eirini & Vili Archer

Soph and Vili in a tryst created something permanent. He doesn't even know her name, and she currently doesn't know his and yet they keept circling each other like a moth and flame in the wake of the consequences of their actions. Be involved in part of the chaos and help shape what their child looks like.

How to Apply: To apply please send a role play sample to Sophrosnia and Vili along with any ideas you may have for them.

Opportunities:
• Embrace uncertainty - will Vili stick around? Will he go out for milk and not return? Adapt on the fly and live life on the edge.
• Interact with a unique family dynamic having a selectively mute mother who rarely if ever talks.

REVERIE Archer. The JUDGE.

While much of Reverie’s personality will ultimately be built off of in-character actions and events, she should be applied for with the following thoughts in mind: Reverie, a lawful neutral character, embodies a strict adherence to rules and order, often finding comfort in structured systems. Raised by a selectively mute mother and potentially a father who speaks, she learned the value of communication and silence in different contexts. Reverie's upbringing will likely instill in her a deep appreciation for balance and harmony, seeking to maintain equilibrium in her interactions and decisions. She may have a reserved demeanor but also she a keen sense of justice and a steadfast commitment to upholding moral codes… but what will those moral codes be? SANGUINE COVE: Magg Eastfall-Slayer & Galen Vuesain

The product of an illicit tryst between best friends who haven’t quite figured out what they actually mean to each other yet, these two pups will seem to have stolen all of their mother’s luck. Out of a litter of five, it will just happen to be the lone pair of identical twins that not only survive, but positively thrive. There is not a physical difference to be found between them, and their boundless energy and impish ways will also be a perfect match. From the very start these traits will be apparent, constantly keeping Magg on her toes.

Adopting her chameleon-like nature, their favorite trick will be swapping identities as easily as they breathe. As they grow, the duo will become practically addicted to seeing how far they can push their deceptions and blurring the few distinctions that separate them as individuals. What does set them apart, anyways? It’ll be up to their adopters...

Parenting: Magg has lied about who the father of her litter is, and currently plans to do so for the foreseeable future, meaning she intends to be the only parent present for them. They will likely spend a lot of time with their grandparents and agemate aunt because of this. It is unlikely that Magg will warm up to the idea of being a mom; the twins will experience varying levels of distance, awkwardness and frustration from her even as she tries her best to do right by them.

Given their limited differences including similarity of names, feel free to state whether you'd like to be offered either twin in case one becomes taken but the other doesn't.

• Feel the consequences of being born illegitimately to a very young, single mother who’s now marked as Lowest.

PARADISE FALLS: Hazelnut Donata-Valle & Ryder Lennox

A night of fun between friends has resulted in a lifetime commitment for these two very unqualified parents, so come join the fun as Ryder and Hazelnut embark on this co-parenting journey somewhat-together! We aren't sure where this adventure is headed, but we are excited to explore the dynamics of this new family and see where it takes us!

What might you and little Indigo add to the mix? We would like to encourage potential adopters to get creative as they are able to fully customize her personality!

Parenting: Hazelnut has absolutely no idea what she's doing. She doesn't know how to be a mother; she doesn't know how to parent a child. Her inexperience may result in an inconsistent parenting style that leads to some interesting threads as she tries to find a happy medium between being a friend and a parent to her children.

Ryder too will be grasping at straws. Naturally quiet and hard to appease, it won’t be a surprise if even Indi herself has trouble reading where she stands with him at any particular moment. Regardless of its subtleness, he will come to absolutely adore his daughter and do his best to show her love in his own ways.

Indi could be described as a ‘printer-ran-out-of-ink pup,’ nearly appearing as though she were spliced between two different pelage patterns. The dark browns from her mask to the tip of her cape end sharply wherever they meet the crisp off-white which dominates the rest of her body. The majority, in fact; the ticking of color stops abruptly in the middle of her back, the rest of her perfectly pale.
