Congratulations Kydnt and Pip!

Of the Month Winners for February!

Would you believe it if I said this is Kydnt's fifth time winning Member of the Month? Well, she celebrates her fourth Rowiversary at the end of the month! Despite claiming to be very shy, Kydnt is always a part of the action going on in the chat, always very welcoming to new members, and just a great person in general to talk to. On top of that, over the years she contributed to so much of the beauty around the site with her art. Row just wouldn't be the community it is without Kydnt, so here's to four years and many more!

Only two months ago we were congratulating Vet on her Member of the Month win and already she's back with a brand new character we've all fallen in love with. Pip, a member of the sea wolf family that was unceremoniously dumped into Relic Lore, was separated from the others but found her way to Grizzly Hollow. Since then, she's been on a number of big adventures despite lack of speech. It's always fun to read her encounters with new wolves to see what her new nickname will be. Can't wait to see how the hairy encounter going down in Grizzly Hollow right here turns out!

Congratulations Arla and Yvly!

Of the Month Winners for January!

Arla's been with us for nearly three years now, playing some very interesting, memorable characters like Lachesis, Greer, Arion, and recently Niq'x. It's been really great watching her develop her characters and become an integral part of RoW's in character setting. Since returning from her trip to Australia, Arla's been a whirlwind of activity and we are all quite envious of her ability to whip out such well worded posts. And we all gotta admit we're kinda hoping Lach will sire a litter one of these days. He's just so cute :C Anyway, congratulations Arla!

Yvly might be brand new to Relic Lore, but she's already started to make her name for herself. In late December Yvly joined Grizzly Hollow, and has recently decided to work towards being a scout. In between her time wandering Grizzly Hollow she has featured in entertaining threads like dead gardens and a very tense encounter with her packmate Oula in So Don't Let Them Steal Your Light. Most recently Yvly stumbled upon one of the lost sea wolves Pip and has invited them to join Grizzly Hollow, demonstrating that maybe Yvly is not so antisocial after all. Definitely look forward to seeing more of Yvly's adventure's and development! Congrats!

Hey guys, we need to have a little pow wow over what's happening with SMP. (:

It has come to the point that SMP will be officially disbanded by this weekend. As the thread that is triggering this is not yet complete, and very much open in the way that it will end, it will be very helpful going forward if we all discuss where our characters are expected to be now. This way, we can all be on the same page, well informed, and able to continue with our character's stories without being held up/doubtful.

This is what can be said for certain about Erebos & Zane, regardless of how the aforementioned thread ends:

Shortly after the events of Aponi's attempted join thread, Erebos will have relinquished his rank and left the pack out of anger toward Phineas. He will speak with Delia first, asking that she and the children (Zeta and Zane) leave with him first. Then he will approach Wren and Maeve, and ask that they leave with him as well, because if they stay he will no longer be able to protect them from Aponi. Kyna, Aponi, Phineas and Takis he will not speak to, allowing them to make their own decisions without his input. Hypatia he will wish luck to and say goodbye to, but will not speak at length with her about why he is leaving.

Zane will go wherever Zeta and his mother go.

It should be noted that due to Nam's departure from RoW, she has wished for Wren to leave with Erebos (should Maeve still be in agreement of going, too) but to get lost in a snowstorm before they join a pack as his exit from Relic Lore. Therefor, as of Nam's quit date (1/19), Wren has been taken out of the game.

Erebos would like to attempt to join Broken Timber Pines, and I would like to be able to start a join thread as soon as those who are leaving with him & want to try to join BTP with him are all able to participate in one. If this includes your character, please let me know if/when you will be ready so that we can get everyone up to speed and current again.

For those of you who I have already spoken to and gotten affirmations from about our characters leaving together, please still reply here with a confirmation so that we can all 100% be on the same page. If anything has changed, that's perfectly fine too! & if anyone has any questions or concerns that they feel more comfortable discussing one on one, my inbox is open to you. c:

Congratulations Wraith and Craw!

Of the Month Winners for December!

Wraith joined us in the middle of December, but their presence in the chat and great activity has left quite the impression on us RoWers! Wraith has been a great influence for activity during a time of the year when we are all quite busy, and we really appreciate their effort. We all look forward to seeing what Wraith and their character has in store for RoW, certainly where our Wolf of the Month is concerned...

Craw is another brand new challenger in the ring, entering Relic Lore at the end of the fall. A big, spooky looking man with some hints of dark intentions, Craw was drawn into Willow Ridge by Morganna, offering to support her in her rise to power. Additionally, it appears Craw has found another potential mentee in Wraith.  What Craw's ultimate plans for Willow Ridge, Wraith, or himself are is nearly impossible to tell at this point, and I think this intrigue keeping RoWers on the edge of their seats is what we enjoy about Craw as a character so much. Will he turn on Morganna at some point? Is there more to Craw than we see right now? We can hardly wait to find out.
