August Announcements

We hope everybody has had a good month of August! This month was filled with lots of fun and exciting ventures for RoW, including some absolutely outstanding activity. Let's keep it up for the month of September. Below are some general announcements, as well as the announcements of the winners of RoW's various "of the month" competitions.

First, we want to say thank you to all who contributed in our Survey. It is not too late to respond, so if you have any feedback, please go ahead and let us know either by responding to that survey, or by responding to this thread. We liked a lot of your ideas and you will be seeing them implemented soon. Chiefly, Shadow has been hard at work at getting a chat box set up (as the staff can attest to) so that should be released at some point this week or on the weekend. In addition, Shadow also added the ability to be notified via email when somebody responds to a topic on your postlog. By default, this setting is not turned off, so if you would like notifications, you must change your email settings.

The first RANDOM EVENT has been posted. Curious? Go ahead and check it out. There are no restrictions as to what can and can not happen in these threads, so use it however you would like. Also, please note, that this first Random Event is starting the beginning of our first official BWP. Want to know the details? Don't worry, we won't keep you in the dark for much longer. ;)

We would like to promote RoW's first Post Prompt, the LYRICAL POST PROMPT. The contest ends on the 6th of September, so you have just under a week to get these posts done.

Four more skins have been created for the member base's viewing pleasure, so go ahead and go check those out. This time around, Ashley and Frankie each contributed a banner and Tara contributed two more. We are always accepting new skins, so don't be shy in submitting them.

And, finally, it is time to announce the various August Winners!

All winners may now request their specific rewards by submitting a Maintenance Request. Keep in mind that the totals will all reset as of tomorrow, September 1st, so everybody has the opportunity to win for the next month.
