BWP Wrap-Up & Survey
The wolves have Relic Lore have suffered for months without a true source of water. In turn, animals have been abandoning the lands in search of better resources, leaving many of the inhabitants at Ruins of Wildwood with a hollow stomach. Just when the packs of Relic Lore were beginning to lose hope... two wolves found water. With the discovery of how the land dried up, Alexander and Amélie have found what had been causing the rivers to run dry. With determined strength, they have moved the boulders blocking the sources, and now, as a few days pass, the water should once more trickle back to the rivers, streams, and falls of Relic Lore.
Thank you to everyone who participated during this plot! Make sure to register all of plot-related threads here so they can be added to the Plot section. Members should begin to wrap up their current threads involving the BWP as well. To the member's who have completed five threads related to the BWP, don't forget to claim your credential.
Happy December everyone. :) Expect to see new skins within a few weeks time (I'm slowly working on getting them up now, but school is really hectic the next week) and definitely a contest or two!
Finally, if all members (including staff, if applicable) can take a moment to fill out a survey it would be greatly appreciated. We would love to hear everyone's ideas and feedback!

November Updates
In attempt to make the board more user-friendly, a few things have been tweaked around the site.. and hopefully, a few more changes will take place over the next few weeks.
First, the IC map has a few small changes. Some people have felt confused by the sub-territories and their location, so they have been added to the map to show their exact locations. Also, pack pawprints have been added as well, so people can see where the main pack dens are located. With this change, I would like to challenge our members to complete the explorer extraordinaire, as no one yet has accomplished this!
There is now a character acceptance message that will be posted when new users are accepted after they apply through the joining form. This has a few small notes for members, such as how to navigate from the IC boards to the OOC boards, and a suggestion of links and features they should check out. We hope this makes the transition to the site easier for our members.
It has been noticed that our newcomers have not been aware of the current BWP (When the river runs dry..) due to poor notification of its existence. A link has been added to the sidebar to help our members notice, so we encourage everyone to re-read the plot. As for the BWP, it should be ending soon, so don't forget to register you're threads! If a character participates in enough threads, they qualify for an Isa Rune.
The winners of the Halloween Pumpkin hunt have received their credential. Congratulations. :)
I would also recommend our users become familiar with a few of our features found in the sidebar. It is recommended that members view the Current Plots page, along with the Gossip Wall, Thread Listings, and Loved Threads sections. I would also like to encourage members to consider posting an adoption or two in the Adopt-a-Wolf section. :)
Finally, I'd like to welcome all of our new members: our activity burst over the last week has been incredible! Great work, everyone! Look out for another survey for RoW over the next few days, as we love to hear everyone's input.

Both will receive a special credential for their profile (which I promise to set up VERY soon, kiddos. <3) Bear with me guys, I'm still learning how to update this place. xD

October and Halloween Update
It's hard to believe that October is almost over. To introduce a few fun and spooky contests, RoW has set up a pumpkin hunt for members to participate in! Hidden across the site are seven miniature pumpkins. Each pumpkin has a letter, so be sure to hover over it and write it down, because after you find all seven, participants must unscramble the letters and figure out the halloween-themed word! These pumpkins can be anywhere, so make sure to look hard. :) Once you have found all of the pumpkins and have unscrambled the letters to form your word, PM the 'Spirit of Wildwood' account with the halloween word, and a list of where you found the pumpkins. Winners will receive a credential reward.
There are also two random events happening in Relic Lore, both offering character's a spooky theme to participate in.
With the end of October drawing near, it's also time for our monthly nominations. We encourage everyone to go participate and vote for who you think deserves to win this month.
Because of their busy schedules, Tara and Shadow have stepped down from their packs for the time being. ICly, Indru has taken the Tainn family away from Relic Lore because the water has completely disappeared, while it is rumored that Honijo has followed him. Ruiko and Kinis have chosen to stay behind, while Alexander is now the leader of Midnight Plateau. To encourage members to join packs, temporary ooc acceptance has been opened to all accepted characters.
Finally, if you've missed our previous news over the past week, we have four new skins for our members, and we are still in need of people to apply for staff.

A little more delayed than originally planned, but finally there are four new skins available for selection, including our new seasonal and spooky default halloween skin, graciously made for us by Vero/Amélie. If you ever want to submit a skin, make sure to check out this thread for more information.
Also, in case members have missed our last news post, staff positions are available and need to be filled. Please see this thread for more details.
Keep your eye out for more halloween contests over the next few days, and a few changes. :)

As I promised earlier last week, the activity check was held today and all characters that had not made a post in the past seven days and were not on the absence log lost their IC title. If you play one of these characters and wish to re-join and play at Ruins of Wildwood once more, please post your form in the Join Relic Lore thread.
The In Character boards were cleaned up as well. All threads that had inactive/removed characters participating in them have been moved to the Incompleted Relic Lore archives section. If you have a thread that is there and wish to revive it, please send your request through Maintenance.
Now.. let's get some posts flowing, everyone. :)

Hello everyone! This is a notice to let all of our members know that Ruins of Wildwood is going to have an activity sweep as we attempt to clean this place up a bit. Members will have their titles removed unless they have made at least one In Character post in the last seven days, or have placed themselves on the absence log. To place yourself on the absence log, you can do so through your control panel.
You may have noticed how quiet it has been here, but the staff is looking to change this. I have been placed as an administrator to help Tara and Shadow, as their workload is exceptionally busy. Keep an eye out for a few changes, including staff applications, new skins, and some Halloween events.
On a final note, I would like to encourage everyone to continue participating in the BWP.
