Ad Contest

• Always read the rules of the site you are about to advertise on before leaving our ad. Breaking another site's guidelines is not only disrespectful and a bad reflection on RoW as a whole, but will also result in a point being deducted from your total in addition to that ad not counting.
  
• Do not post an ad if someone has already posted one recently. Most sites will specify a wait period between ads from the same site, if they do not please wait at least a week.
  
• Advertising should be done on legitimate, active sites. Adverts placed on sites with no IC activity for over a month will not count. New sites must have at least 10 characters/accounts in order to be counted.
  
• You must post the link to the ad you posted so that staff may verify it. If we cannot verify the advert, we will be unable to count it. Some sites do move ads between 'unaccepted' and 'accepted' subs - we will check for this for you.
  
• You must use the official advert provided here: https://relic-lore.net/showthread.php?tid=212 - custom or obsolete adverts won't count.
  

Ad Contest Scoring:

• 2 points for every verifiable ad on an animal based RP.

• 2 points for a thread where your character is telling an nonthematic, general story (this is a story that does not fit the requirements outlined below).
  
• 3 points for a thread where your character is telling a story involving their family history and/or spiritual/cultural beliefs, or is centered around Fall or Halloween-inspired themes.
  
• 5 points for a thread where your character is re-telling any story that they had heard earlier in the contest.

Fall Cleaning

We're going to be doing some coding things around the site over the next week or two in order to spruce things up a bit before fall, including but not limited to: fixing the member roster links, deleting gossip wall logs that are over a year old, and creating a few little treats to use around the site. One of which we have already done!

Posting Template

One exciting thing the staff team is bringing you is a posting template that is more mobile friendly and coding novice friendly to use around the site! We now have a basic coding template coded into the site for you all! It's a black table with grey text and a burnt orange/red speech text! All you need to do is use

State of the Coding

Hi everyone! I'm just giving some updates to the site from a staff and coding perspective so everyone is aware of what is going on and how it might impact gameplay. Some updates to myBB forum software as a whole has introduced some weird quirks to our site over the past month or so that can only be fixed in the code on the back end, and this announcement is to address it.

Health Bar

The health bar, aka hydration bar, bug that automatically set a character's hydration meter to 90 whenever they tried to update it has been fixed, meaning users should be able to update their own bars from this point forward. If you notice any further issues with updating your character's health bar please ping me in discord or send me a PM on Vayko so I can further inspect.

Character Acceptance

We've run into an interesting bug because of some updates to myBB affecting the character acceptance script tool. As a result, we've had to temporarily change our character acceptance process from the staff-end until I had the time to fix it (progress on it was been slow coming due to preparations for my sister's wedding). However, as of today this bug is also fixed so expect character acceptance to return to normal!

Hi everyone!

As our first round of pups reach yearling status since the re-open please remember to post in maintenance to adjust their fight stats. All new yearlings HP will be set to 2, and they will need to take a -1 to one of their stats to reflect their fight build.
